Ian Hayes Retires, May 2015
On 30 May 2015, Ian Hayes retired as consultant for the company, after over 30 years at the helm of Hayes & Partners, which his grandfather founded in 1933.
For the last 10 years of his career Ian worked with current members of the Hayes & Partners team, concentrating on design at inception and planning stages of projects and specialising in conservation with listed buildings. Drawing on a wealth of experience, he passed on his knowledge and expertise to colleagues, who have been inspired by his commitment and approach to design.
Eleanor Hall has been a Director of Hayes & Partners since 2007, and since Ian Hayes’ formal retirement in 2013, is now owner and sole Director of our well-established and successful practice. The Hayes & Partners team continues to follow Ian’s example and advice, and goes from strength to strength, enjoying success in a number of planning and design awards.
We wish Ian all the very best for the future and hope he has many healthy and happy years ahead. It’s now time to enjoy the grandchildren, golf and sailing!
